I am loving Kenya, and there is no doubt why… God's unlimited love and power are evident everyday. While I have absolutely loved spending time with the children, playing with them and helping them in their classes, I have also had the privilege of spending a lot of time with Great Mercy's founder, Judith Muntage (AKA Mama Mercy). I have met many incredible people over the last eight months, but Judith just might be my favorite. Part of my ministry has been helping my teammate, Michael, with creating a website for Great Mercy. This has allowed me several mornings of sitting with Mama as she shares the history of Great Mercy, her heart behind it, and stories of God's provision and faithfulness. This woman's faith has been blowing me away. It has been incredibly refreshing and humbling working a long side such a woman of God.
Judith has been an incredible example of a godly woman. Not only is her ministry inspiring, but also the way she loves and encourages my team. Mama is always looking out for us, wanting to make sure that we are comfortable and happy. The last week and a half has given me such a heart for this place.
