I was eating lunch with friends the other day and the question came up again… Why the World Race? I don't feel like my answer was nearly as eloquent as I hoped it would be… So I decided to finally organize my thoughts and right them down.

There are hundreds (well maybe like 20ish) of reasons why I chose the World Race…

FIRST, and FOREMOST, I feel like it's where God is calling me to in the next season of my life. How is God calling me? That will be answered in the rest of my reasons.

(The following reasons are in no particular order)

"I wanna feed the hungry children
And reach across the farthest land
And tell the broken there is healing
And mercy in the Father's hands"
(Britt Nicole Song)

I want to see miracles.

I want to see lives changed for God.

I want to go on a big adventure.

I want to learn to trust God in new ways.

I want to grow exponentially in my faith

I want to minister to human trafficking victims

I want to go to Cambodia.

I want to love the people that the world has forgotten

I want to see old wounds healed, including my own.

I want to see God in ways I never imagined

I want pure JOY
Jesus     (1st)
  Others    (2nd)
    Yourself (last)

Again, the number of reasons could be endless, but there is only one that counts.
God is calling me to go.

I once promised God I would dedicate a year of my life to missions. From July 2012-June 2013, I am honoring that promise. I hope that you will partner with me on this journey through prayer, words of encouragement, and if you feel called, through your finances. If you wish to financially support me, please click on the "Support Me" button on the left of this screen. Thank you and God Bless!
