On the second day, while the girls had school there, we took care of their children.

Soon after lunch, one of the girls asked me if she could do my makeup. I had to explain to her that my skin is sensitive, and that it was not a good idea for me.  Then I asked her if she would like to do some art and she said yes.  I got my items out of my bag and she brought pencils and a big large piece of white paper to the table.  Another girl decided to join us, and I allowed them to use my paper and oil pastels.

As I finished one piece, I asked the two girls what their names were, so that I could make something special for them.  Then I went to go get a cup of hot tea and a cookie for a snack from the kitchen there.  As soon as I went out of the door there was another girl sitting outside her room who was asking for me.  I had asked this girl earlier if she would like to join me and the other girls and she had said no.  So, I went to her and she showed me her creative art in her journal.  She then asked me to draw a picture in her other journal.  I asked her for her name and then began to create a neat design from it.  When I was done, I asked Jesus what else should I draw on this picture for her.  He began to tell me His heart for her and told me to put flowers and specifically roses on it.  When I was done she was pleased and thanked me for it.

Then I went back to the table where I had began drawing one of the girls names.  As I was finishing one of the girls names, the other girl, who had asked me to do her makeup, saw what I was drawing for this other girl and asked me to draw the same thing for her on the big white sheet of paper.

After dinner, I began to draw the girl’s name in a neat way on the big white sheet of paper.  It was getting late and the misquotes were beginning to bite.  One of the girls came up to me to share her mango with me.  It tasted so sweet!  It reminded me of the mangos that I would eat in the Philippines.  Then, soon, this girl brought me a whole mango.  It was so sweet of her to do this.  I finished up drawing the girl’s name in pencil and decided it was time for bed.
