I am 21 years old, and have had a heart for missions since I was in elementary school. I remember being in first grade and being concerned about my friends, wondering if they were Christians or if they had a relationship with Jesus Christ. Also, I remember answering the question, “If I could make three wishes, what would they be?” One of the wishes was “that every person in the world would make a decision for Jesus Christ to be their everything.” In my fifth grade year book, I wrote, “When I grow up I want to be an evangelist or a missionary.”
A few months later after turning thirteen, Jesus began to speak to my heart about ministry, and a few years later He began to speak to me about the different nations that He is calling me to. A few years later I graduated from High School and afterward I took a year off from school.
The next year I attended a community college and started to major in something that my heart was not 100 percent in working toward. In the middle of my last spring semester, I prayed about changing my major and changing my school. I am now attending Christian Leadership University (an online school) and I am majoring in Missions and Evangelism. I am now happy and enjoy my course work.
