Isn't alliteration fun?
Two weekends ago was Camp Zoar, as previously mentioned in my other blogs, and this past week my cabin ladies and I met up to chat about some questions that were brought up camp. We met Thursday night at 5:30 and I expected to stay about an hour, talk through a few passages in Romans and give them some set up questions for next week. Instead we spent two hours and change(followed by some prom dress shopping in one of my friend's closet) talking about so many questions they have about their faith and the Scriptures. Some questions were more serious than others, we talked about the tower of Babel and what the original language might have been, if the stories told in the Old Testament were truth or parable, all the way to our original questions about predestination, the infallibility of Scripture, and God's sovereignty.
To see these young ladies asking questions(most of which I don't understand either) and searching through Scripture, discussing things among themselves (at times I was able to just sit back and listen as they answered each other's questions) was truly one of the most spiritually encouraging times I have ever had. These ladies are looking for answers, actively. They asked me to meet with them, they brought the questions, they brought the willingness to learn, speak, and listen. It was incredible and an answer to prayer. I can't wait for next week!!
Hopefully our Thursday night meetings will become something solid, a place to ask and answer, listen and discuss, teach and be taught. This is what I know God has for me, this love of knowledge surrounded in a thirst for Christ. I know somehow that this is what I've been called to do, here and now and wherever I'm going in the future.
Today life feels beautiful.

P.S. Support raising is going well, thanks more than I can say to everyone who is supporting me through prayer as well as financially, I hope that I can be as much of a blessing to you as you are to me. More about this topic later. Love, love.
