Dear Future Racers,
If you’ve reached this far, congratulations are in order. You’ve successfully listened and followed that tiny call in your heart to apply to the Race. If you thought that that panicked feeling would subside a bit. I’m sorry to say that now it’s only going to grow. Since now you must face the looming questions of, “WhAt In ThE wOrlD aM i SuPpOsEd To PaCk?!” So now you are probably freaking out, Googling anything and everything you can think of in search of someone to tell you what to do.
Don’t worry, you are not the only one. I was right where you are not too long ago. The only difference now is that I’ve packed my bags and have been living in Costa Rica for the past two weeks with the beach as my backyard. So don’t panic. The end of your packing crisis is near. Then you can join the other racers and myself with the questions of, “Is this really happening?! Were actually doing this?!”.
It’s a pretty crazy place to be. I’ve only been on the race for two weeks now but man is it worth it. So keep on trucking. You’re exactly where God wants you to be and that’s the only thing that truly matters. Not what’s in your pack but what’s in your heart. (Yes, I know that was extremely cheesy). But it’s true. If your heart is in the right place then everything else will fall into place too.
