For all of my family and friends,
I hope this letter finds you well! I wanted to write to give you an update on what is going on in my life and how God has been working. As you may know this past year has been extremely trying for my family and I due to my struggle with anorexia. Their support and the support we have received from family and friends have been absolutely essential. In lieu of the eating disorder and the impact it made on my life, I have found myself absolutely certain about the path ahead of me. Growing up I always wanted to help people somehow, but I didn’t know exactly how God wanted to use that; now He has made that clearer than ever.
Starting in January 2013 I will serve as a missionary through an organization, Adventures in Missions, in their 11 month and 11 country World Race Program. On this missionary adventure my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution due to human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love everywhere we go.
I am extremely grateful that God saved my life last year so I could go forward and bring His hope to the struggling souls throughout the world. It is now my prayer that He will help provide the funds necessary through my supportive family and friends. I am writing to ask if you would be willing to make a donation, either one time or monthly, to help me move forward with God’s plan for my life. I have to raise $15,500 dollars in order to go on the World Race, which covers all of my expenses on the field.

I am so excited to see how God will move in my life and in the lives on others in the coming year. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve, but also to you.
