Disclaimer: this is Latin America, which translated means “there is no time frame”. But here is the tentative day-to-day schedule:
6:55– roll out of bed
7:00– devotions with the pastor and his wife (I don’t know why they want to sit in on our devotions when they don’t understand a word we are saying)
8:00– eat breakfast (usually eggs and toast or oatmeal and yogurt, but always coffee. Fun fact: Ecuador is one of the largest exporters of coffee and yet everyone here drinks instant. Come on people!)
9:00– ministry (we have painted the pews at the church, evangelized to people in the neighborhood, etc.)
12:30– lunch (can I have some chicken with my rice? Sometimes we’ll make ham and cheese sandwiches, and the fruit is always great)
2:00– ministry (back to painting benches, or more driving around to churches/houses)
5:00– personal time (on my computer if we have internet, reading a book, doing personal devotions, playing games, etc.)
6:00– dinner (NO. MORE. RICE!)
7:30– church (whether it’s church here or a church two hours away, we are always going to a church…we are feeling very Christian)
9:30– family time and feedback (usually consists of sitting on the roof of our house talking about what God has been doing in our lives. And maybe the occasional feedback on how we could do things better)
11:00– free time/bed time
This week (Aug 1st –7th) we are traveling back to the first church that we were at to help out in their farms and serve them in any other way.
Next week (Aug 8th – 14th) we will be helping out in VBS ministry at our church here in Lago Agrio.
Also, thank you all for your prayers! My dreams have been much more pleasant and God is constantly reminding me of His Power! Such a cool thing to be taught :]

Typical Ecuadorian dish. This is a special occasion, Playing with my food.
otherwise it would just be chicken and LOTS of rice!
