Did I just pack 11 months worth of stuff in two back packs? Surprisingly I did! Just FYI for those of you who know me, I will NOT be wearing a different outfit every time you see me like some say I usually do. ??
But really this is actually happening. For so many months I have told people about my trip and gotten various camping items I would need. There was so much anticipation to what I WOULD be doing. Now this is what I WILL be doing! Tomorrow my parents and I will travel to Georgia where I will meet up with some of the greatest people I know. Together we will begin this journey to show Jesus’ love around the world. With this reality so many emotions race through me…nervousness, sadness, excitement, anxiousness, joy, peace and much more. The one emotion that is most prevalent however is loved.
I have witnessed such love and support from numerous people in various areas of my life. I can not believe that I have raised 92% of my financial goal already! I am BLOWN away by all the financial support and the generous hearts of God’s people. I have also never felt more covered in prayer. For all my life, I knew that there were various people praying for me on a consistent basis. I Am confident that I have hundreds of people praying for me on a DAILY basis! Wow…I am in utter awe of how encouraged, loved and supported I am! No words can truly say just how thankful I am for the support of my family and friends! Just know that as I leave for Panama and for the next 11 months, that you all will be with me as I embark on this journey.
