Hello Friends, Family and Supporters.
I just wanted to update you on the 5.4 earthquake that we had here just over an hour ago here in Los Angeles. Praise God that there are no injuries reported at this time. I actually didn’t feel the earthquake because I was a mile outside the 7 mile radius that it hit at the time. My roommate Erinn did feel it and like the well trained woman she is she ran straight for a door frame to protect herself. She called to see if I was alright and I had no idea what she was talking about. Can you believe that? We were less then five miles apart and she felt it and I didn’t. Go figure. I drove a little over a mile to Target to get some pens and notebooks for training camp. The elevators were out, but this wasn’t a big suprise considering those aren’t the best elevators. Once inside target caution tape was around the health & beauty section and also around the cleaning aisles. The aisles were strewn with a mess of cleaners, shampoos, and bottle that had broken and spilt in the walk ways.
One of the earthquake specialists says that this is just a warning that is preparing us for the big one that is coming. Please keep the LA area in your prayers. They need to be shaken with the love God. Pray that this city’sheart will tremble in surrender to the will of God.
