Hi there! Well… this is where you get to learn all about me… sooo I guess I should start from the beginning! My name is Lindsay Ann Fox, and I was born 25 years ago on February 29, 1984. Yep, I’m a leap year baby, so I guess technically you could say that I’m 6 years old :). I never hear the end of that one, especially with my students ;). I was born in Missoula, Montana, but sadly moved away before I was old enough to remember it. I’ve lived most my life just outside of Cleveland, OH, aside from a few childhood years that were spent in San Diego while my dad finished up his residency out there… I have one brother and two amazing parents, all of whom I am very grateful for and love very much!
This is my “little” brother – and by little – i mean younger. he is 6’4 😉

I’ve been playing piano since I was 4, and went to the University of Akron for a degree in Piano Performance. I have not yet completed my degree, partially because over the past few years I have felt God pulling me in a different direction. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out why I kept feeling that things were not “right”. I
struggled for a few years – turning to just about everything except the Lord, trying to live up to what I thought was my plan for my life… but that’s exactly what it was: MY plan. Not God’s. And it wasn’t until I came to this realization (the long and hard way), that I finally learned to just trust in Him and let go of the burdens I had been carrying with me… and what a freeing feeling that is!! 🙂

Now don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying that I don’t ever struggle anymore, but through faith and God’s amazing grace I find strength. Kinda like the song 😉

I love music and it makes up a big part of who I am,
but there has always been a part of me that felt drawn to the missions
field. My whole life it has always been in the back of my mind – a
desire to travel and share God’s love and grace… a desire to bond and
form relationships… a desire to help and be an influence where help
and influence are needed… and it is such a blessing that God has
opened up this door for me!

I currently have 20 piano students, most of which are under the age of 10. I love love love kids, and I love teaching and being able to be an influence in my student’s lives!

I also love: traveling. reading. being anywhere outside. horses. horseback riding. dancing!!! summertime. new friends. new experiences. good food. laughing. loving. and most most most importantly, Jesus!!
I can’t wait to set off on this journey, and to begin the next chapter of my life!!
