Yes, you read that right. Including monthly donations and pledges still coming in, my World Race is officially fully funded!
Although I have not actually left yet, this was a big part of the beginning of my journey. As I mentioned in my blogs from training camp, something that God is really working at in my life right now is that I would fully and completely surrender everything to Him. It’s all got to do with this five letter word: TRUST.
How easy is it to say that we trust God’s will for our lives, but when it actually comes to it, how often do we worry about things like our future, our job, and our income? There were times over the past few months where I would get upset or worried about the amount of money I had to raise to do the World Race, but each time this happened, I was reminded that God would provide. It was just one of many lessons I’m getting in learning to completely trust Him!
God has shown up and He has shown up in awesome ways so far on this journey that He is taking me on. One of these awesome ways He has shown up is through this fun thing I had to do to go on the World Race- support raising! 🙂 It has been absolutely amazing to hear from all the people who want to partner with me, through prayer and support. I continue to be overwhelmed with gratitude for all the people that God has placed in my life and for the support everyone has shown as I prepare to leave in September. So, to all of you who have been reading blog posts and supporting me prayerfully and/or financially- thank you! You are all awesome!
Although I am fully funded, many of my squadmates still need funds to reach our second deadline of $10,000 which needs to be submitted by August 18th. If you feel led to give, you can visit their blogs by clicking on the tabs on the left side of my blog.
