Hello friend! My name is Lily Howard, I’m 18 years old, and from a small town in southern New Hampshire. I love to sing and worship, and working with and teaching youth/children is my passion! I got started on missions in early 2015 when about 9 members of my church, including myself, went down on mission in Honduras. I immediately fell in love and went back to serve for 6 weeks and worked in numerous orphanages, did a Toms shoe drop, worked for my host family, and whatever else was needed of me. I again returned with my church in the spring of 2016 and really found my deep passion for mission work on, and it motivated me to sign up for this World race Gap Year! My team and I will be launching to the countries of Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ethiopia, Nepal, and The Philippines in early September. I cannot wait to submerge in this journey and see how Christ is going to work in and through each one of us!!
I encourage you to read my posts, look through my pictures, and take the time to say a prayer for me and my team! Every piece of support is greatly appreciated!! God bless!
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:13-16)
