Hello friends and family!
September is coming quickly!!! I just wanted to share a few things that are going on in preparation for the race!
Yesterday was my 22nd birthday, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who made it so special. I am very blessed to have the love and support from amazing people in my life, and I'm so looking forward to spending my 23rd birthday with my U squad family next year! 🙂 That being said… If you want to give me the best birthday gift ever I still need about $2,800 to be fully funded! Today we got information on our travel insurance. They told us for the first time ever we are able to raise support to cover these costs, which are an additional $785.
Also, today I got my travel immunizations! My body is now vaccinated and ready to see the world! This was a big check off my to-do list! I'm still a little shaky and sore from the yellow fever one, but should be fine by tomorrow.
Training camp starts Saturday. I can't tell you how extremely excited I am to meet my everyone from my squad, meet my team, break in my gear, and be refreshed with the Holy Spirit. It is going to be super exciting and I will tell you all about it when I get back.
Last, keep me and my squad in your prayers. As we get closer to launch Satan is attacking us more and more, he's using everything he can to distract us and bring us down. Prayers our greatly appreciated for the spiritual well-being of all four squads that launch in September. 🙂
