I probably should have brushed up on my Espanol… but here we go anyway…

Leaders arrived in Santo Domingo around 7 Saturday night. Within two hours, we got our bags, made it thru customs, and drove to our hostel (a catholic missions house) about 45 minutes away. After a questionable night of rest (i question if i slept at all)… i rose with the roosters (a small colony that were excited to see the sun and decided to sing… LOUDLY) around 630.
After the logistics and financial people arrived, our first task was to budget and buy today´s lunch, tomorrow´s breakfast and lunch.
Harder than it sounds.
Currently, i´m in a barber shop blogging. i feel MUCH better (was suffering with some illness for a few days) and let´s just say that GOD IS SOOOOOOO GOOD.
rest easy family, friends, and supporters… He is at work here and preparing the way before us.
