Safe Place

I come to you as a child. You are my safe place. I rest in Your arms, my head to Your chest…listening to Your heart oh Lord. If I can just stay there and listen. My safe place, being overwhelmed with peace and comfort. I just want to hear Your heart. Chase after the sound it makes. Follow its every beat, praying that my heart will go after Yours Jesus. 

“Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with Your counsel, and afterward You will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
