Hey Everyone!
So this is my about me. I was born and raised in New York. I have a crazy but awesome familia. My faith in Christ and my family are super important to me. My mom is my best friend and is just amazing. There has never been a moment where she has given up on us or anyone for that matter. She has such a kind, selfless, and loving heart. My mom is the type of person that loves to help anyone and everyone. And if you ask her to pray for you, you better believe she will be in her prayer closet everyday until the Lord answers! I have 2 sisters, one younger and one older. There is never a dull moment when the three of us get together. My father would do anything for his girls, and has sacrificed a lot so his family could live a better life than he had. Both my parents have given me an amazing gift that will be more than I’ll ever need, the gift of Christ. I love my family with all my heart and treasure every moment we are all together.
I grew up in church but had never been a consistent Christ follower. Not until recently, after a major hardship in my life, I decided to truly dedicate myself to Him. I have never felt safer than I do now, knowing that God is always the same and is always good. I have found my life in Him and never want to leave.
For so long I asked “why”, or “what if” to the many tribulations I went through, but these questions are pointless. God knows why! He puts us in circumstances and through situations that give us perseverance, that strengthen our faith, that change our character, and that ultimately lead us closer to Him.
Truly trusting in Him was not something so easy for me to do. I thought it was, until I found myself occasionally worrying or trying to make my own plans. But who better to trust with my life than my Creator!? He can do far better things with my life than I ever can. Every morning I make a choice. A choice to die to myself, and truly live for Christ. I make a choice to trust in Him and to have faith no matter what. I don’t know what tomorrow holds but I know who holds my tomorrow, my Great and Mighty KING.
I just recently graduated from Liberty University in Virginia, which was definitely a life changing experience. Liberty is a Christian school and looking back, it was just incredible. Picture a campus where you start class with prayer, where what you’re learning, whether it be math, microbiology, nutrition or what have you, Christ was mentioned… Where there were many college students on fire for Jesus, coming together not only for a degree but to grow and learn more about their beautiful Savior. AWESOMENESS!!!!!
Throughout college I’ve always heard about missions. I knew that deep down in my heart I had a passion be a part of one but I didn’t know how, when, or even where. After much prayer I am pleased to announce that I am an official World Racer!!!! This is where God has lead me now.
I love people and love loving them! My passion is to demonstrate what True Love is, God’s love. It’s such a blessing to know that He can use anyone, even me, to do something so great for His kingdom. I’m THRILLED to see what God has in store for me and the different people He will place in my life, with this new chapter to come.
