El Shaddai is home to 85 beautiful children of God. The ministry here, I truly believe, is the future of God’s kingdom in Swaziland. In a country plagued by HIV/AIDS, witchcraft, and godlessness, El Shaddai is God’s light shining on a hill.
Being here, God’s promises and love are almost tangible.I know God has so much planned for this ministry. I know this because all plans and dreams for El Shaddai’s future are impossible by human standards.
They are God-sized plans and dreams.God turns impossibilities into possibilities.
God loves to work in the impossible and unexpected. I mean just look at Daniel, Jonah, David, Joseph, and Paul. Each part of the Bible has a story that is unexpected and seemingly impossible. Yet, with God as the author, each story tells of His glory and power.
It is when we move past the expected that we see the impossible happen.
In Exodus 14 the Egyptian army was bearing down on the Israelites. Now in this moment all I imagine is the Egyptians looking down on millions of Israelites running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. I mean what would you do their shoes, stuck in between a huge army and a sea, but it was at this moment Moses asked them to do the most unexpected thing. Stand still. In that moment they did the unexpected, and God did the impossible, parted the sea.
El Shaddai is doing the unexpected by giving these children hope in a country that isn’t going to be here in 35 years. But the unexpected leads to the impossible.
Dream God-sized dreams.
Live unexpectedly.
See the impossible made possible.
