Dear Mom,
It’s Mother’s Day tomorrow!! And so today I wanna try to honor you in this blog. You mean more to me than I could ever tell you. First I just want to thank you for educating me my entire life. You gave up your career to stay home with us and make sure we received an education that was Christ centered. Just know how much I appreciate that (even if I didn’t say it for years). You have loved me, taught me, laughed with me, and cried with me over these past 18 years. And now I’m leaving. If I could, I would take you with me because you’re my best friend. I want you to be there with me to see it all, experience it all, feel it all. But it’s time for me to do this alone. Every time I love on a child during this trip I pray that God would allow me to love them as unconditionally and deeply as you love me. I believe with all my heart that someday in the future God is going to provide an opportunity for us to serve Him side by side overseas, and I SO look forward to that time. The whole point of this ramble is: I LOVE YOU MOM. There’s no simpler way to put it. Thanks for all that you’ve done for me.
