Hello from Phuket, Thailand! This month our entire squad is staying at a YWAM (youth with a mission) base. We’re loving the time spent together during the holidays! 🙂
We’re ready for Christmas! The tree is up, stockings are hung…we’ve baked cookies (please notice our trendy Thai hair nets!) and selected secret santas…all we’re missing is the SNOW!
We’ve been going to the beach a lot lately…it’s strange sporting a tank top and shorts in mid-December…but i’m not complaining 🙂 The world race has made me weak. When it rains, I grab a sweater–i’m so ashamed!
This month the World Race is teaming up with SHE ministry (self help & empowerment) –learn more about them by clicking here–to share God’s love with prostitutes and “tourist” men in the city bars. This ministry has stretched, challenged and broken us in every way imaginable. (Blogs coming soon!) Please continue to keep our squad in your prayers!!
Michael, our team leader, has been promoted to squad leader. Wish him luck and follow him through this new stretch of the race by reading his blog here! On that same note…Tim has been called up to take Michael’s place as the new leader of team Shabach. We’re confident in the ability God has given him to lead, and we’re excited to see the ways God will move in and through him in this new position.
