It is a bit daunting to know I have only just begun my fundraising campaign and already it is being quite a challenge. Considering, all of the letters I have sent out and the few small fundraising ideas I have started, I feel there has been very little return for my efforts. I feel like the amount of money I must raise in the amount of time I have to raise it is overwhelming. In fact, I’m physically being dwarfed by the mere concept of fundraising. I’m not afraid to omit that I am worried about finances, but I know God is bigger than money.
Despite all of these fears and doubts, I know that God has called me to go. This small piece of knowledge is providing me with a lot of peace. I realize that God would not place this calling on my heart and then fail to provide the way and means for World Race. So trusting in this little thing, I’m stepping out in faith.
For the next 2 weeks, I’m asking all my friends (and perfect strangers too) to support me. No donation is too small. No contribution is too little. With this blog I’m posting my fundraising video.
