Ah, what a beautiful thought. While life throws every twist and turn we can sit back in peace knowing God is in control.
I’ve seen God display this action so much in my family lately. While things happen that we have absolutely no control over I can tell you that we have absolute control over how we REACT in those situations.
It’s so easy to let the circumstance get the best of you and take over your emotions. And it’s also equally as easy to pray to God and ask Him for help. I’ll tell you what the difficult part is (for me) –giving up that control to let God do His work.
Lately my life has seemed to be one difficult turn after another but I have so much peace. I think a big chunk of my struggle is the devil being super ticked that I’m preparing for such a big mission trip. I mean, he is LIT. I’ve finally given my whole life to God and the devil knows I’m a threat now. This picture/quote is something I often look back on because God is calming my soul while the storm rages on. I know that these times happen, that I will encounter some hardships, but it is just SO much easier knowing I have a big, powerful God fighting for me!

I do want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful people who donated to my funds. Not only in a financial stance but supportive stance as well. The amount of prayers, kind words and money donated to me has been overwhelming! you guys are absolutely wonderful and I’m so thankful for each and every one of you. I couldn’t be doing this without your support and I just want you to know how thankful I am for you! I’m currently at $253 which may seem small, but, I’m that much closer than before! I just continue to ask that you be in prayer for me while I continue to fundraise for this trip. If you could pass along my story and what I’m doing to other people it would be so appreciated.
As always, I love you all so much and thank you for everything!
