11 Fun Life Facts about Month 2 in DR:

1. We live in tents above mud and ants (sometimes they eat their way inside)
2.  We shower in a creek/ waterfall
3.  One bathroom is shared between 38 women
4. We do laundry with a bucket and a hose (they often stay wet due to rain)
5.  We love our crema (cream of corn or oatmeal) for breakfast, rice and beans for lunch and for dinner cake with hot coco
6. As a group we consume 55 gallons of water a day
7. Our teeth are brushed in the woods with a water bottle
8.  Going to church is a 1-2 hour excursion on a bus one way
9.  Our bananas and mandarin oranges come from the land where we live
10.  The geese and roosters make an excellent alarm clock starting at 3 am
