So quickly the months turned into weeks, weeks into days, and now days into hours!!
I am so excited for this great adventure! Over the last two days we have been given an abundant amount of information regarding safety, team, location, and etc., all while being asked to pray about the vision and goals that the Lord is placing on my heart as well as my team!
Yesterday my team had the opportunity to sit and just soak in His presence and just align our will with His, and as we begin to speak He gave us all the general idea of the plan that He has for team Chosen. Our mission is: To Magnify Unity wherever He places us, and daily carry with us a childlike spirit that brings joy and peace to those we encounter (I am paraphrasing, I didn’t write down exactly what we said)! Luke 10:21 speaks to us saying “At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said, “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way.” As a team we have so much hope and expectation that the Father is going to show up and we are going to be wrecked; we cry out “Holy Spirit Come!!” He has placed us together for a reason, each one of us brings a little piece of Jesus to the table; He has given us the authority to go out and call people Higher, to magnify who the are in the Lord.
While we were praying into what the Lord has called us to do as a team, I was wondering when He would reveal what He had in store for me as an individual. The day was coming to an end and I still had no confirmation of His visions for me. During musical worship one of our squad leaders went to the girl next to me and begin to speak power, authority, and courage over her, as he began to walk away he stopped but his hand on my shoulder and said; “He wants you to know that you are not unseen, that He has not forgotten you!” Just as soon as he walked away, the Lord said “I want you to touch the hearts of those that feel like they are unseen, that feel like the world has forgotten them.” I felt just a sense of joy take over my soul, because earlier I had shared with my team the exact same thing that when I was younger I often felt forgotten but the Lord in all of His goodness sent people my way to stand up with my and speak truth into my life. People that invested in me so that I would know that the Most High thinks about me every second of the day; through those people He made it know that I am certainly not forgotten. He is calling me Higher to speak that truth into missionaries, teammates, women, orphans, and whoever He has that word for.
Tomorrow six different squads will be sent out to the nations, we as the body of Christ are calling on all of you to lift us up, to call us higher, to pray daily for us. I am ready and expectant of the good work that is about to be done, we serve a Good Good Father.
