Every Wednesday I scroll down my Instagram feed to see who made it to hold the title for the infamous #WCW that week, to see who decided to choose a celebrity or someone that they actually know. I rarely participate in #WCW or #MCM; but when I do always make sure that it really means something, I want that person to know how I feel about them, and that I think my entire social media world should get to see just how radical my #WCW or #MCM person is.
I decided to write this blog on Monday because I woke up, went to the kitchen, looked out of the window, and saw her; my #WCW!!
We all have that one person that makes us want to be better, to try new things, to believe in ourselves more, and take risk. I remember being a sophomore in college and trying to describe her to a friend and all I kept saying is “She makes me want to be a better person, you just wait till you meet her because you will feel the same way!” And to this day I still feel the exact same way; she pushes me to be the best version of me by just living life with me.
She has seen me at my worst more than she has seen me at my best and still her love does not wavier; I think that every time I fall down she loves me more. She has shown me love day after day in new ways; she has walked with me through one of the roughest season I have ever been in. She speaks truth over every life that she encounters, even if she doesn’t say one word. She is a woman that knows that she is Royalty; that understands she is a Daughter of the King. She daily lives into her inheritance. She has been and is a role model to women all around her, near and far. Her life is an example of what it means to wait on the Lord. In her hard days she still finds some reason to smile, whether it be ice cream or a funny joke, because nothing can steal her joy!
I love this Woman with all of my heart, when something happens she is the one that I want to tell, she helped raise me and teaches me new things every day! It has taken me a little while to fully appreciate all of her wonder and all of her quirks, but I have been able to see all of the glory that is inside of her and she has won me over. I am thankful to have a sister as wonderful as her!
So here she is my #WCW!!Love you so much Anissa Cornelius (and thank you for Frankie!)!
