Honestly, I think blogging is going to be my first big challenge. So, I’m going to start small and just be as honest and transparent about everything as I can throughout all of this. Small blog post, small amount of $$ raised so far, small me, HUGE, amazing God.
What have I gotten myself into?! I’ve never even been on a mission trip and I just signed up for 11 month one!
I have so many moments like that these days. I am excited, eager, scared, and a little stressed.
The Lord is already showing me that I need to trust Him wholeheartedly if I am going to thrive on this journey.
So I will trust and know that He is faithful.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:4-7
