Words do little to express my excitement about leaving for the World Race in July.  My freshman year of college I began to discover the love God has placed in me for the Nations. Over these four years He has continued to grow this love and strenghten my desire to see all people of the world experience the love, hope, and joy that comes from a relationship with their Heavenly Daddy. He has blessed me in being his hands and feet in East Asia and to communities in Raleigh during my time in college, and is now calling me to the Nations again.

In May, a couple months before leaving, I will be graduating from NC State University with an interdisciplinary degree in International Environmental Policy and Conservation.  During those four years God has used classes, people I have met, worship services, and alone time with Him coming together, in His timing, to teach me more about Himself. Deepening my relationship as his daughter, and opening my heart to the ourpouring of love and gifts that comes from this relationship.  But even greater He has shown me how these gifts are not simply for me to hoard to myself, but to go out and share with His children in my hometown, my university, and around the world.

With these lessons God has given me His strength to leave behind for a time my family, friends, and comforts of home to go where he leads to tell the Good News to those who have not yet heard. This task is not a chore, or a burden, but a pleasure because I know He will provide the love, hope, peace, courage, whatever I need to see it through to the end. I cannot wait to go to 11 different countries, to form community, and to share His love over the next year!

If you would like to hear more about my story, have any questions about the World Race, or how you can become one of my financial supporters please contact me. I would love to take the time to sit down for lunch or coffee and talk with you!
Thanks!
