About a week ago I thought I would be in Nicaragua now. As is typical of the world race, you can’t know anything for certain, and I’m getting more accustomed just going with the flow and trying not to worry about the details. So last Monday when we left Camotan, the Honduras borders were closed, and so our trip to Guatemala City was not our final destination in Guatemala. Our next stop for the world race is Nicaragua, but we’d need to take a bus or something through Honduras, or go through El Salvador, and possibly take a boat to Nicaragua. So for the last 5 days or so we’ve been staying in a touristy spot called Antigua, where my squad-everyone who left in June, has met up with the October squad. So there are about 100 of us all together. We had one or two sessions with them, and worshipping together was awesome; it gave me chills. I had a vision of God just smiling down on us, and angels in heaven joining us in singing and dancing.
For the most part, the last few days have been more restful, and a good break from the more rigorous schedule we had for most of June in Camotan. Tomorrow we should be leaving for Nicaragua, and it’s a 2 day journey and I’m not sure how we’ll get there. Please pray for us as we travel. Also please pray for my team unity, that we’d communicate well- in love and truth, and just be patient with one another as we are still learning about each other.
