When you look at the mountains from here, you would have no problem describing them, its easy to say:
Oh yeah, they look like this and go that far and they’re this tall, you know? I could probably drive around them.
But when we start walking a little bit closer to those mountains, they become slightly more difficult to describe and harder to see where the top actually is.
Then you actually don’t know which way to go to get around it anymore.
Now we are on the mountain and we can see different colors in the rock we couldn’t see from the distance, there’s actually plants living on it you didn’t notice from afar, you may even be able to see some crevasses that make the surface unpredictable, or we can physically feel an atmosphere shift.
This is how I have been experiencing the Father recently.
I’ve been getting lost in Him, or rather found at the same time.
I feel like I connect with Him in new ways each day and He just keeps getting bigger. Some moments I think I have this whole life thing figured out and then the Father surprises me with a facet of Him I have not yet experienced. And simply leaves me speechless.
I am in the business of getting to the depths of the Father and going even deeper. There is SO much to venture in Him.
“Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty? They are higher than the heavens above—what can you do? They are deeper than the depths below—what can you know? Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.”
-Job 11:7-9
