“Two weeks was all it took to realize it. Two minutes, really. Looking out the window on the plane, the red dirt roads seemed to be calling my name. The call felt stronger as I walked down those roads, fiery red dust in my eyes and red mud caking the bottom of my skirt. Vibrant green trees and fields seemed to sing to me as I passed.
“Leah, welcome home.””
