I know it’s unusual for me to post 2 blogs in one day (check out my other blog too…it has a video…it’s pretty cool), but this one is rather important! It’ll be quick. I hope.

First of all…

Happy World Race Day!!

Why is it World Race day, you ask? Well because it’s 11/11! November 11th…11 countries…11 months…those two 1’s stuck together are pretty special to me nowadays. So in honor of World Race day, wear those snazzy shirts you got from me to help me be here (remember these?), and pray for all the current racing squads (including H Squad), that the Lord would continue to move in and through us!

Second, let’s talk about Laos. “But you’re in Thailand!” Yep, I know! Pattaya, Thailand, to be exact. But next month H Squad will be in Laos, and it’s going to look a little bit different. Laos is a closed country, which means they monitor and control any and all religion within the country. Because of this, my team and I may be limited in what we share about our ministry, hosts, etc next month. And to protect our hosts and our time in Laos, starting on Thursday I will have a password to access my blog. “Cool! What’s the password?”

To reach leahvogel.theworldrace.org, enter: leahinlaos

Don’t worry, that password will be taken away when we reach 2015. But for the next 6 weeks, you get to join me in making a conscious effort to protect our brothers and sisters in Christ in Laos. Questions? Let me know!

Last but not least…deadlines. By December 1st, everyone on my squad has to have at least $11,000 in their fundraising accounts in order to continue on this race for a few more months. Well PRAISE THE LORD, I’ve passed that deadline! Wooooo!! But there are a bunch of people on my squad who haven’t reached that goal yet, and I’d love for you, my people, to pray for them. “Who exactly should we pray for?” Well, three of my lovely teammates, Landon, Kyle, and Ali, all need just a little bit more to reach $11,000. And check out our squad page to see the smiling faces of the rest of H Squad and pray for them as well.  Pray that the Lord would provide in miraculous ways, just as he has been doing!

That’s it. Thanks for hanging in there! As always, email me if you’d like to receive specific prayer emails from me throughout the race. And click subscribe on the side of this page to get notified every time I post a new blog!

Thailand blogs coming soon! Love you all!
