We have been in Honduras for a week and a half now and I can’t believe that we’ve already been here for that long. I have to say that I came into Honduras with a lot of preconceived ideas, like its dirty and dangerous. However as I spend time here and as I learn more about it I now can only think of Honduras as beautiful and the people as lovely. I’m sure there are places that are dangerous and we have been to a few of them already, but never have I felt unsafe not even for a second. God is for us so who can be against us right? Every day here is different, but we have the privilege of living and working with 7 amazing boys (pictures to come) who previously lived on the streets and came from a harsh life. They are totally unrecognizable from the kids they used to be (from stories we know this is true) and its by the grace of God. These very boys that used to terrorize their communities are now leading us into their communities to do construction and prayer walks, its truly incredible. Anyway, due to the fact that a lot of the places we are going are dangerous we are unable or at least discouraged from taking our cameras with us so I have only a picture to share with you but enjoy!
