It's true. They don't.

I learned that on the way to BUCHAREST, ROMANIA!!! That's where I am right now.

The HAPPY HOSTEL.

Picture a cute white building with lots of random art, a winding three story staircase and lots of rooms loaded with unstable cots.

There's a young yellow cat crawling all over people and the rest of our space is filled with packs pushing the 50lb. limit.

So what about…

AFRICA?

I have a CONFESSION to make.

Yesterday, I didn't want to finish the race. I did, but I didn't. I was dry and exhausted from a long month of trial. I had forgotten why I was here.  The fire in me was put out. I missed home.

But I fought for it.

I have prayed, and prayed some more and tonight the LORD finally gave me back my FIRE.

I have a new team of 6 awesome friends and women (all girls team!) of GOD. I love them. With the team change came a time of worship, and honest prayer and new motivation to fight with all I have.

I am called to AFRICA! I know it. If you know my story you've heard that the part where I become a missionary started with telling God I would NEVER do something like be a missionary in Africa.

Ha. God has quite a sense of humor.

I'm also called to the nations. I know that too. (Read some earlier blogs.)

TONIGHT I was reminded again that the same God who can get me TO the nations, will get me THROUGH the nations-and give me all the strength, hope, love, and encouragement I need to along the way. This story is not finished yet.

I NEED YOUR HELP

To finish the race set before me, I need to raise $8,787

That's a lot of money.

But considering my Papa owns it ALL, it's nothing.

And He is FAITHFUL.

So here's my being faithful: I ask you to consider supporting me $40 this month. That's a meal out once a week, or choosing to make coffee at home for the month. If everyone who read my blog gave $40 in October and November I would be FULLY funded.

FavorI ask you to share my story with one friend, and share the link to my blog on your facebook/twitter.

Finally, I want to leave you with these  words:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the blind." Isaiah 61:1
