It’s been amazing to see Christ come through everyday in so many different ways. Yesterday our house did ATL (ask The Lord) in Antigua. Our team split up with the other team and ended up praying for four beautiful women. One of them began to cry while we prayed for her and her family. Later I cried from excitement after I talked with a 26 year old guy, wearing a navy blue shirt, who has been traveling for a year now. As we talked he shared with me all sorts of stories about his journeys and told/shared pictures with me telling me where I must visit when I go to Thailand. Renting a motorcycle, he traveled into a remote village where he was able to see women who tattooed their faces after marriage (at least that’s what he thinks because he had a hard time understanding them as they explained it) and also met many amazing people, one of which he visited in Australia some time later. I found out that his dad was a pastor at a baptist church and now is on the board for something to do with the Southern Baptist Convention in Pennsylvania and Virginia (I believe). I asked when his addiction of traveling started and it began when he traveled with his dad for a conference to speak with different missionaries. We talked for close to an hour and the more stories he shared the more excited I became and decided I will be doing just that soon after I get back. And then it hit me–I am doing that right now!! Ahhh!!!! My dream has come true!! I am traveling right now! All over the world! Like what?! So ya! The moment lasted like 30 seconds and now it’s back to normal were I am just winging this trip and not really realizing my new life…which is a really awkward feeling some days hahaha!
