I See Jesus in…

-The Rwandan children who come running and screaming “MUZUNGUS” to greet us EVERYtime we walk to church, embracing my legs with both arms and then fighting to hold my hands the whole way there.
-The families to open up there homes to us when we go door-to-door and not only do they greet us and enjoy our visits, but they request a Word from us…its not like at home where you’re lucky to get in someone’s door…these people desire encouragement from the Lord from us!
-The family I’m staying with, Pastor Moses who is ALWAYS smiling and cracking jokes and his love for the Lord overflows from his heart…his wife Mary who we’ve formed a bond with even through the minor language barrier (although we’ve found out she knows a lot more English than she lets on) she cooks AMAZING food, and her and the other women who help her wash our clothes! Serve us tea twice a day with a smile or her face..basically we see the joy in everything she can do to serve us…she’s a Proverbs 31 woman!
-Also, in the two girls who we live with, Moses & Mary’s children…Lori is 3 and a half and full of life! And then one of the women from church who cooks and cleans has a daughter her age who is always here named Anita…its never a dull moment with these two! Then there’s Deborah, the youngest daughter who we called DeBo…and she just turned one today! She likes us, most of the time J
-In the people at church who reserve the front row of the service for us out of respect
-The choir…aka dance team! Every church service is like a dance party!!! We dance and jump and yell and basically throw down with kids, adults, everyone for atleast 30 minutes. With all the dance moves I’ve learned all I need is a leotard head band and leg warmers and could make my own workout video! (church services back home might be a little boring now!)
