I was talking with a friend, when this phrase was used, and after a couple seconds I decided I really liked it, and would be so fitting for my next blog entry.
Mainly, because this entry is an update for everyone on how my fundraising is going. I still feel like I am in shock and awe, I never imagined that this early I would be writing all of you and letting you know that I have officially raised 80% of my funding for this opportunity. That’s right 80%. WOW is God good or what?
But it’s more then having $13,300 dollars fundraised. It means I definitely will get to pursue and experience this opportunity, aka: I get to go. Go to spread Gods love, go shine my light, go live in community, live among and love the least of these. It means I’ll get to experience at least six months on the field, that God will use me, challenge me, and teach me. As well as have me teach others.
I would like to thank each and every one of you who have donated to my cause thus far, I could sit here and try and name all the names and probably still miss a few, and those of you who have been praying thank you, keep it up, keep them coming because God is up to big things. 🙂
along the same theme, GOD Loves all of us so much, he wants to bless and love all of us. For every individual he does that in a different way. He has a knack for knowing exactly what we need when we need it.
Now I still have about $2,700 to fundraise, so if you can help great if you can’t then your prayers are greatly welcome, and appreciated.
First you can give by going up to the upper right hand corner of this blog ( to my picture) and find the SUPPORT ME link, click on that and you will be taken to a secure site to give. Or you may make a check out to ADVENTURES IN MISSONS and put BENTRUP LEAH on the checks memo line and Send the check to: These donations are tax deductible)

Gift cards to amazon, or rei are great ways to help out. Finally you can give a donation toward my personal fund for the race ( this donation will not = a tax deduction, but is still very helpful) you can write a check out to me/ send to me and I will put it in my account.
Finally for those of you who pray, pray not for just me, but for my squad mates who are joining me on this journey, for their finances, and very importantly for their families. For our families to give blessings and full support, to be able to accept and deal with us being away for a year, for them not to worry too much because God is fully in control of this call and will keep us safe.
Know for those who have given thus far I am working on thank you notes and hope to get them out soon.
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to an all-knowing God
