I am home in
Kentucky
.
It feels good to be home again, but a restless feeling remains as a reminder of how close I am to leaving for the World Race.
I am excited to start this journey that God has prepared for me since the beginning of time.
He has chosen me and chosen to send me into the world to become a servant of love to the homeless, hopeless, orphan and poor.
I do not claim any spiritual greatness, except the greatness of Christ within me.
I do not proclaim profound truths I have discovered, except the Truth that has been revealed to me by my Savior.
I do not travel into this world to exalt myself for what I do, where I’ve come from or the lifestyle I’ve lived, but I go to exalt the Most High God and follow His command on my life.
You will see me experience intense joy and intense pain this next year.
My heart will be broken and renewed countless times.
You will be there.
I want to share my heart with you and how God is transforming it through this journey.
I also want to share with you the world I encounter in a genuine way.
God has given me a heart to pursue a life that is lived with rugged passion for the world we live in and for the God who created it all.
I will be updating this blog with stories and pictures regularly so make sure to check back often!
Please feel free to comment in the section below with anything from words of encouragement to funny stories that come to mind.
I want to be connected with each one of you while Im gone.
I will also be posting updates on my support status during the trip until I am fully funded for the year.
I want to say thank you to all who are supporting me in your prayers and financially.
There is currently $9,033 raised towards my $13,000 goal.
Praise God!
Please continue to lift up the support raising in your prayers, for myself and also for others going on the World Race who are still under their financial goal.
I leave in 12 days!
WOW.
