First off, I want to say
THANK YOU for all of your prayers and support these past several months.
I wanted to post an update about where I’m at in prayer and financial support at this time – and what God is doing in my life right now.
In my account right now I have $
3,640 with another $
1600 in pledged monthly support = $
5240. That means I still have
$7760 left to meet my $13,000 goal by Dec 20th, 2006.
If you have planned on supporting this ministry, but misplaced the information, please let me know and I can get you what you need 🙂 Also, if you know anyone who may be interested in supporting me this next year, pass the word along – I’d love to talk to them!
I also need about
4 more people to be a part of my
prayer team. This group of
prayer warriors will be praying for me, for this ministry and for God’s guidance in everything this next year. I will be sending specific prayer request for each month I am gone and also keep you updated on my personal and team’s prayer needs. Drop me a line if you want to be involved prayerfully!

My small team (James, Lynette, Sarah, Amy & myself) has weekly confrence calls where we all get to talk about our past week, prayer request, the Warrior’s Journal (a prayer journal book that we’re all reading) and preparations for our journey that begins Dec 31st, 2006!! I am anxious to be with my team again, to get started on this race to fulfill the Great Commission, to be chasing after God’s heart daily…
But right now, God is reminding me that this is my time for preparation and that the ministry doesn’t begin on the 31st, but is lived out daily in my life – right now! He calls us to be chasing after His heart daily no matter where we are at, not just on the mission field. He has each of us in a specific place for a purpose – to fulfill His purpose – that He is ultimately Glorified in all our lives! Join me this next year, but more importantly join me right now chasing after God’s heart and where that takes us… what an exciting, powerful, worthy and incredibly amazing God we serve!
