Since Wednesday, I have been at Launch. Launch is the beginning of the World Race. We have been sitting in session after session being poured into with knowledge of how to lead and minister well to those we will be reaching out to. Until now, I haven’t fully known what to feel. For me, unlike the majority of the others that are joining me, I am from Atlanta where we are beginning our journey. Unlike most, I had a 40 minute drive to the hotel and that was it, I’m there. It has been hard for me to not “be at home”. It was easy to still feel comfortable and not feel like I have quite left anything behind.
Well, that’s how I felt until tonight. One of our speakers during our worship session told us to just ask the Lord for joy and peace. Easy enough, right? Ask and you shall receive was most definitely a thing tonight. As soon as I asked, I received. I received a smile and was now elated and was so excited about this journey. I realized how easy it is to lose track of mind when you don’t put yourself wholeheartedly into what you are doing. I have a mission, a mission to go out and spread the word of God to the nations because I have been CHOSEN. I have been chosen to use my gifts and talents to be a small part of the change that will one day, be oh so big.
God is moving and this going to be a big year for not only me, but everyone in my life. I am so excited for you all to get a glimpse of this incredible portion of my life.
