“The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still” Exodus 14:14
God’s love for us is unfailing and so unconditional. The place I feel I am in right here, right now is in the middle of the ocean with a bunch of fish beneath me. Those fish represent everything in my life in this moment. It is easy to get lost and feel like we are drowning. We then start to swim all around or start flailing our arms frantically trying to decide what will happen next.
Be still.
I am not drowning, I am floating. I have decided to swim with the fish and where they lead me is where the Lord wants to take me right now. Stress,worry, fear…none of those came from Him. For me, right now it is easy to get lost and feel like I’m drowning but I have been told to Be still. Reality is, right here, right now, I am in my car on my lunch break from work listening to Wake by Hillsong Young and Free. This is the moment I need to live for, not the next hour or the next day, just right now.
Be still and know that He is Lord.
His love will never fade away and it is here to stay. Lift up all the worries, all the stress and let Him wake within You.
