The October squad has officially begun
their Race. This morning at 5am the first teams headed out to their
ministry sites and by 11am they were all on their way to changing the
world. This month this group of 61 fire-breathing servants are spread
all across Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras, pumped to jump into
this journey they’ve been preparing for for so long. And I couldn’t
be more exited for each and every one of them.

When I signed up to lead a squad, God
revealed almost nothing to me. No specifics whatsoever. He needed me
to walk into this simply because He called me to. Not because I would
get to go to new places or because of the cool people I’d be with.
He asked me to follow blindly, and I did, solidifying yet again the
fact that He deserves every single ounce of my trust. And I did trust
Him. I trusted He’d close this door if it wasn’t where He needed
me to serve. I trusted He’d place me within a team where I could
learn and flourish and yet struggle through my fears and reveal to me
even more about who I am and how He sees me. I trusted that He’d
allow me to serve a squad that was perfectly fashioned and chosen to
be together. But I never expected this.

I’ve fallen head over heels in love.

Last night, myself, along with my
co-leaders Tim and Abby, and our coaches Scott and Carol Pitts,
commissioned the bold, Spirit-filled S-squad to go into the world and
love with the love of God. The Lord revealed to me so much about
their identities as Sons and Daughters. He opened my eyes to see them
not as they are now, but how He sees them and the abounding love He
has for them. Ever since I met them, I’ve loved the S-squad, but
since being here in Antigua, I’ve been completely blown away by the
affection and utmost adoration I have for them. I earnestly hope to be used in any and
every way by the Lord to serve them and spur them on to become the
fierce warriors God has created them to be. These men are BOLD and
COURAGEOUS. They are filled with LEADERSHIP and PASSION unlike
anything I’ve seen. These women are SERVANT-HEARTED and HONORABLE.
They are ANNOINTED and so BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL.

At Training Camp we prayed that this
group would be ACCELERATED. God heard that prayer and answered it
ten-fold. There’s just something different about this group.
Something BIG. Something NEW. Something SPECIAL. And I don’t think
anyone can comprehend the shift in the spiritual atmosphere that is
coming through these chosen ones. They are vessels of VICTORY and of
HOPE, ushering in a new era of HEAVENLY KINGDOM here on earth all for
the GLORY of our God.

[Please be praying for the teams
throughout this month as they walk through their first taste of
Christ-like service, Spirit-led existence, and 24/7 community living.
Pray for boldness, consideration, and breakthrough for each one of
them individually as well as amongst their teams. And lift up a
special prayer for the team leaders as they try to serve their teams
wholeheartedly in obedience to the Lord and his calling on their
lives.]
