Between saying goodbyes and buying last minute gear I’ve been getting more excited and more nervous all at once. Each passing minute brings a different emotion, a different response to this calling, a new perspective of how crazy this next year will actually be. But, thankfully, I serve a Lord who, in times of doubt and hesitation, comforts and strengthens. Earlier today I got a text from my friend Cooper saying “Lauren williamson. Download ‘follow you’ by leeland immediately. I thought of u right when i heard it. Literally sums up world race” I love friends showing me new music and Cooper is such an encouraging woman of God that I couldn’t wait to look it up. And sure enough, it didn’t disappoint.
