Hello World! 🙂 I was asked to do a little “about me” section, so here we go:

I was born and raised in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. My parents, John and Susan, were given the huge task of bringing up me and my sisters in the fear and love of the Lord. By the grace of God and through the love of my parents, I came to know Jesus at a young age. My relationship with Him is what sustains me, gives me life, gives me purpose, gives me joy, and gives me hope. Currently, I am a student at Georgia State University and will graduate (Lord-willing) with B.A. in Religious Studies December 2014. I spend most of my time with family and close friends, especially my church family. I have a special place in my heart for international students; they bring me so much joy and gratitude. I am pursuing life-long overseas and/or domestic church-planting and missions service. That is why I decided to do the World Race and as each day goes by, the Lord reveals more each day how I am following His leading in this decision. He delights in me, He rejoices over me, and I desire to proclaim that truths to a lost, dying, and broken world. Missions exists because worship doesn’t (John Piper) and I want to see people all over the world worshiping this holy, just, and loving God. I pray my life is a testament to the sanctifying grace, unconditional love, and everlasting joy given to me by my Lord and Savior.

Here are two scripture passages that mean a lot to me and I hope these encourage you as well:

Isaiah 52:7 (ESV)

	"How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
		who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

2 Corinthians 4:17 (ESV)

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison…”
