Our time in Puerto Rico has finally come to an end. With it, comes mixed emotions – excitement for what God has next and sadness in leaving all the friends that we’ve made.

This month was spent with two others teams, for a total of twenty world racers. Because of the size of our group, the month began with our ministry host cancelling at the last minute and us staying in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.  This became such a blessing because instead of jumping right into ministry, we were able to rest, adjust to the climate, and get to know one another a little better. In that week we were also able to meet some amazing new friends who blessed us beyond measure and who will, no doubt, forever have a special place in each of our hearts.

After a week full of unexpected blessings, we packed up our things and moved to Vega Baja, where a local church put us up for the rest of the month. While there, we worked in another church, in Levittown, PR, doing manual labor.

After ministry each night, we were able to spend some time with some of the local church members, who took time to pour into us and show us the beauty of the island. Each one of them will also always have a special place in each of out hearts.

Please pray for our hosts, Pastor Reuben and his wife and the church we stayed at, in Vega Baja, for our ministry contacts, Pastor Victor and Richard, and for all the friends that we made: Shara, Galdi, Jocsan, Emanuel, Carolina, Pedro, William, Isaac, Hector, Sami, Josue, and Lourdes.

Here’s a glimpse at what life looked like, this month!
