Recently our creative department released a Real Life promo video called, “Dear College Me.” It reflects on several people’s insights about what they would have told their college selves if they could. You know, the whole “if I only knew then, what I know now” advice. Well, it’s made me think what I would have told my college self.
It would probably go something like this:
Dear College Me,
Don’t freak out that although 18 of your friends get married the summer after graduation, you will have an entirely unique adventure of your own. This will be an adventure solely for you and God to have together, and what an adventure it will be. Get excited! Be thankful for the opportunities He places in your life. His timing is perfect. And your time is coming. The Lord has His plan in motion for your life. It’s a beautiful plan. You, “College Me,” will have a beautifully wonderful life.
