Simplify. A lesson I’ve been learning all too well this week. In just a few days I will be moving out of my apartment that I’ve resided in for the past two years. I recently had a garage sale to sell most of my belongings (yes, I held on to a few precious items) and continue to try to simplify my life as I prepare for the World Race. I will admit, it is hard packing up all my “stuff” that holds certain meaning to me or selling my “stuff” at my garage sale, but as a friend reminded me, it is just that, “stuff.” A big reason I decided to go on the Race in 2010 was to center myself back on what Christ sees as important and not all the “stuff” I see as important. I was reminded this week of just how blessed I am.
