As many of you know, one of my goals for a while has been to ride on the back of an elephant. Today, September 15, 2007, I reached that goal. Allison and I set off for our elephant trekking adventure this morning at 7 AM. No one else from the team was up for the challenge, apparently. That, or they hate elephants… but I don’t know how that could be possible.
Our elephant riding was more of a jungle-safari adventure complete with waterfall hiking, gibbon viewing, rubber tree tapping demonstrations, and kayaking through a mangrove forest. Pretty sweet!
