Well.. this month in Battambang, Cambodia has been pretty crazy emotionally with being on a new team, being on a new continent with a new culture, and living in a preschool working with kids that live on the streets. We’ve been working with Crossing Cambodia ministries and it has been AMAZING. These kids are no less than precious and hilarious, and the staff has been so welcoming and hospitable. Six days a week the staff serve these children with all they have for glory of the LORD. They pick them up off of the streets every morning at 6:30am, bring them back to the pre-school, feed them, wash and clothe them, brush their hair and send the older kids off to school. The pre-schoolers would hangout all day, learn and play. The older kids would come back for lunch and have some free time to play or catch up on some school work and then later return to school. After school, they put their street clothes back on and were taken to the area of the city where they generally stayed. These children aged from 3 to 12. It was heartbreaking to just drop them off on a curb at the end of the day. I am so thankful to have loved on these kids and hope one day to see them again as well as the staff. The staff here are some of the hardest working and loving people I have ever met. The Lord really showed me what dedication was and what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
