THANK YOU JESUS!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! You are awesome!!! I’ve been learning a lot since I’ve started fundraising, and really enjoy sharing with everyone about what God has been doing in my life. I’m thankful everyday for this opportunity and even more thankful that all the people in my life want to be a part of expanding the kingdom of God by helping others and helping send me as I answer the call that the LORD has placed on my life. My first dead line amount of $3500 has been met and I couldn’t have done it without you! This will pay for my training and some of my trip. My training is May 21-31. I’m looking forward to finally meeting face to face, my crazy team mates and leaders that I will be spending the next year of my life with. The training will be in Gainesville, Georgia where we will be seeking the LORD and spending time in fellowship, working on our team building skills, learning about the countries we will be going to, and pretty much have all of our questions answered. We will be spending the ten days sleeping in our tents and roughing it (YAY!). I’M SUPER EXCITED!
Today, there was the purchase of an REi sleeping bag and sleeping pad which are very comfortable and warm. I’m very pleased, and will be using them as my bed starting tonight! 🙂
Please continue to keep me in your prayers as the LORD prepares me in all areas of my life for this opportunity to serve my brothers and sisters in Christ. Please pray that there is unity amongst my team and leaders, our minds are clear, the Gospel would be proclaimed clearly, and for protection and provision for all being called to the field. Most importantly, please pray that the people we serve are receptive and hungry to know Jesus more.
