One night in Kenya we decided to spend the evening participating in IPod worship.. What this means is everyone on the team picked their own playlist, put on the headphones and sang along. All together, singing different songs.. But because of the headphones noone could hear the other.
I put my iPod on shuffle and danced to whatever song played. As I listened to the lyrics from the random songs I was able to put together a prayer. Words I think God gave me to pray for my self.. Here's what I got..
Un-offendable, God fearing woman
(World) Don't make me over. Love me for me. I can't live without you (God)
Love will hold us together
No one knows where we are going or when we'll get there (God is in control, He directs my footsteps and timing)
You can only count and lean on God..
Your the voice … Make a noise and make it clear. We're not going to sit in silence. We're not going to live with fear. We can all stand together
I came to win, to fight, to conquer, to thrive, to survive, to prosper to rise. I am not a word I am not a line I am not a girl that can ever be defined. (God) you see right through me. You knit me in my mothers Womb. Use me Lord
Find light in the beautiful things. I choose to be happy. Fearfully and wonderfully made. Ignite the light and let it shine. God gives me my worth.
Grace, mercy! Gentle and quiet spirit!
Why you gotta be so blind. Open up your eyes. He's no good girl, no good for you.
Say what you wanna say. I just wanna see you be brave.
It was a fun night of singing and dancing to the ipod on shuffle, (You might even recognise a few of the songs) worshiping God and hearing encouraging words from Him.
I believe you can find God in everything. Are you listening?
